A Place of Hope 2017
A place of Hope, is an ongoing investigation into the use of curves, arcs and bends to appeal to the imagination and senses through the language of abstraction in sculpture. Human and yet, still intimate in scale, A Place of Hope, has an architectonic quality. The spaces expose a fascination with caverns and voids. The effect of these volumes results in light being both reflected and absorbed by the form and its fleshy sunburnt colour.
