Born in Sydney, Samantha completed a Master of Fine Art in Sculpture at the National Art School Sydney in 2017, her practice spans sculpture, installation and painting. She currently lives and works in the Southern Highlands, New South Wales.

 

Samantha has been a finalist in several art awards, including Sculpture by the Sea (2014, 2015, 2017) in which she was the recipient of the Clitheroe Foundation Emerging Sculptor Mentorship (2014), winner of the Western Sydney University Eichhorn Family Sculpture Award (2021), joint first place in the Bowral Sculpture Prize (2019), and a finalist in both the Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize (2019) and the Mosman Art Prize (2023).
